In 2023, grace_cloud_by_design was inspired by a personal goal, which embraced the fact, that despite the busy, and often challenging lifestyles we lead, a space of balance can be found through learning and enjoying shared creative interests.

My personal interests as an Educator and Art Therapist, is woven into the medium of textiles; especially with creating interesting fibers. With an appreciation and inspiration taken from nature , beautiful and long-lasting practical and wearable items glowing with color and interesting texture can be created using spun, knitted, or woven fibers.  

 

The practice of being creative, can often lead to a place of comforting balance: providing calm into the rush of everyday life. Learning and engaging in the skills of spinning wool, knitting, weaving, leathercraft or clay-work, through personal lessons, small group workshops, or retreat days during the year, can provide a peaceful grounding to restore balance. Gathering together with like-minded people, can provide deep satisfaction and a sense of joy through the act of creating.
