In 2022 'grace_cloud_by_design' began with a personal goal, which fulfilled a much-needed personal outlet for my creativity, in an already busy, challenging lifestyle and this provided me with a balanced   space for learning, enjoying shared creative interests with others.

My own creative interests as an Educator and Art Therapist, is woven into the medium of textiles; especially one to create interesting products with wool, leather or clay. With an appreciation of nature my aim is to create beautiful products which reflect such natural colours and textures in handspun, handknitted, hand-woven items that can be worn or used in a practical and sustainable way.  

 

For me, the practice of being creative, can often lead to a place of comforting balance in my day:  providing a calm into the busyness of everyday life. I continue to learn and engage in the skills of spinning wool, knitting, weaving, leathercraft or clay-work, and I offer others already made products, personal lessons, small group workshops, or retreat days during the year, which can provide satisfaction of making something beautiful and long-lasting as well as a sense of quiet joy through the act of creating.
